Consumer involvement in Kidney research

We welcome patients and their family members to come together with researchers and clinicians to discuss their experience with chronic kidney disease (CKD), including dialysis and transplantation, so as to inform future research in this critical area.

The workshop’s objectives are to:

  • expose patients and caregivers to basic principles of research
  • provide community involvement training to researchers, patients and caregivers
  • develop effective patient engagement in all areas of CKD research.

This workshop will be held on Saturday 9 December from 1–5pm at the Translational Research Institute, 37 Kent Street, Woolloongabba.

Please join this important engagement workshop by giving us some information through this Invitation and Expression of Interest  form
