After completing a Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science (Hons) at James Cook University, I worked in the field of human pathology testing before feeling the pull of research and undertaking a Master of Science (Applied Statistics) with Swinburne University of Technology.
My role as Clinical Research Associate at AKTN has given me the opportunity to pursue a career that utilises my strengths and interests to support research intended to improve the health outcomes and happiness of the kidney health community. I have particular interest in improving protocol site training and site support methods, increasing meaningful consultation with consumers, and improving data monitoring methods.
Outside of work, my hands are currently full with an energetic and wilful Kelpie puppy; but once he calms down a bit I hope to return to my other loves of needlecrafts, running and yoga!
